Preamble

CODie software products – an enterprise committed for more than 18 years to create and develop software packages, tailored to the needs of their customers in the fields of- and with the core of competence in ship’s maintenance and insurance administration.

Once again CODie software products will participate the SMM at Hamburg in 2008. Our aim upon this exhibition is to present new and improved various functions in CODie-ISMAN as well as to introduce our new programs:

CODie-ISMAN-Claims and CODie-ISMAN-Damages which tailored to the needs of our customers.

We designed this program for the particular needs of shipping lines and ship management companies in the field of ship maintenance. The advantage of this program is to make maintenance works on board a vessel more transparent, flexible, easier to supervise and of course more cost-effective, in broad terms to make the administration of an enterprise vessel more easy on a very high level. A further target of this software is to keep idle times of a vessel (repair days and off -hire times) controllable and as low as possible.
Consequently the PMS has been certified by GL and DNV.

Maintenance and administrative requirements of a vessel compared to the needs of controlling a vessel by the ship management company are somewhat different, consequently two different versions of the program have been created – a vessel version and a shore side version One version is running at the headquarters of the ship management company (company version), the other one on the vessel (vessel version).

Hence, we have integrated a full automatic data transfer from the vessels to the office of a ship management company and vice versa to arrange for an online process control easy and efficient.
The integrated modules in CODie-ISMAN are of custom tailored electronic ISM system, an electronic system for circular letters and company advises, an integrated ordering system, a spare part administration database, a fully integrated office management system, a monitoring system for vessel’s certificates and much more.

In addition to the above mentioned program functions CODie software products has developed CODie-ISMAN-Claims and CODie-ISMAN-Damages. Both modules can be integrated in the main program CODie-Isman but also can be used as stand alone systems. These programs are rounding off the entire CODie-ISMAN system and are of latest state of the art. The main focus of these programs is once again to reduce costs and to keep full control on all open claims or open damages. The covering of all such important processes in one centralized program and most user-friendly handling are the characteristics of CODie-ISMAN.
